Its wide rope contact area, 11 mm wide, extends the lifespan of both the rope and the carabiner. Its hot-forged gate features a curved shape that facilitates clipping and allows an exceptional 28 mm opening range.

Its name refers to the Picot bird, known for its sharp and defined beak.

Optimized geometry: Material has been reduced to essentials, keeping only key points to maximize ergonomics and ensure excellent contact with the rope and hanger, with a weight of just 40.4 g.
Extends the life of the set: With a width of 11 mm, it creates a larger curvature radius of the rope over the carabiner, reducing wear and extending the lifespan of both rope and carabiner.
Snagfree: The lower part of its nose is smoothed to facilitate unclipping from the hanger and the rope.
Conical Nose: Its pointed, conical nose facilitates precise and smooth insertion into hangers or other connection points without obstacles. It also eases release during dismantling.
Keylock: Prevents snags with the rope or hanger during clipping.
Resistance: 22 kN vertical, 8 kN horizontal, and 8 kN with the gate open (EN 12275).
