For more than 15 years, the Vega Jacket has shown what is possible when it comes to down clothing: a high-end jacket for lightweight, modern mountaineering.

With its low weight, compact pack size and water-repellent material, it provides warmth and protection on demanding alpine and mountain tours where the essentials matter.

It provides the warmth you need on multi-day expeditions to the world's mountain giants or on technical alpine routes, without adding unnecessary weight.

The high-quality 800 cuin goose down is strategically distributed throughout the jacket and stays in place thanks to the quilted chamber construction.

This ensures optimum warmth and keeps the down in place, preventing cold bridges in sensitive areas such as the shoulders, chest and hood.

Our down is DOWN CODEX certified: This means that it comes from a transparent and carefully audited supply chain.

The lightweight and highly water-repellent DRILITE® Loft outer material with PFAS-free DWR allows the down to develop its full fill power for maximum thermal performance.

At the same time, it protects against snow, ice and whipping spindrifts. DRILITE® Loft is completely windproof and breathable, ensuring a high level of comfort even during intensive activities.

The water-repellent material is used on the inner hem and also as the inner material of the hood to protect these vulnerable areas from moisture penetration.

The seam-free shoulder sections offer reliable weather protection - even when wearing a rucksack.

The Active Alpine Fit is tailored to the dynamic needs of alpine mountaineering.

The fixed, insulated hood comes with our patent-pending Firestorm construction. It combines quilted chambers with a full-length outer fabric to provide unparalleled protection from the elements in the harshest conditions.

The chamber construction reduces overall volume without reducing warmth, and the halo chamber around the face provides warmth and protection from icy winds and spindrifts.

The two large stash pockets hold gloves, hats or other essentials that need to be close at hand when you're on the move.
