The Switch Vest is perfect as an outer layer over a base layer for endurance sessions or as a mid-layer on long ski tours.

It impresses with its outstanding moisture transport during all sweat-inducing, intensive activities.

It keeps you warm during rest periods and makes changing layers of clothing unnecessary so that you can concentrate fully on your project.

Innovative Active insulation
The combination of innovative Octayarn inner lining, lightweight and stretchy nylon outer fabric and inserts made from Pontetorto® Technostretch Fleece makes the Switch vest a versatile companion for alpinists, climbers and ski mountaineers.

Under the microscope, you can see the hollow, branched fibers of the insulation material, which are reminiscent of a cogwheel with eight "teeth".

This complex 3D structure increases the surface area, improving thermal performance and moisture transport while reducing the overall weight.

Octayarn is as thick as an 80-denier fiber, but weighs only half as much and is significantly less bulky.

The highly breathable Octayarn fabric on the front of the vest has no inner lining. It reliably wicks away sweat and ensures a comfortable feel during intensive activities.

This is particularly beneficial in technical terrain where changing layers is not an option.

The lightweight stretch fabric on the front is wind and water repellent and protects against light rain, spindrifts and cold wind.

A good fit is guaranteed by the bluesign® certified Pontetorto® Tecnostretch-Fleece on the back and sides.

This highly technical stretchFleece is made in a family-run textile factory in Italy and is our best performing Fleece material.
