Περιγραφή

This anchor has been designed for climbing and mountaineering fixed lower-off stations.

They must be placed in pairs to guarantee security.

The rope must be inserted through both carabiners formed by the pair, taking cake to exert the downward force on one, the other assuming the role of passive "back-up" (a procedure based more in consideration of the rock surface than the anchor itself).

Completely new design.

Thanks to new and innovative production techniques, the manufacturing costs have been substantially reduced: the cost of each complete anchor is more or less equal to the traditional hanger and screw anchor combination.

*THIS ANCHOR IS DESTINED TO REPLACE THE CLASSIC BOLTING METHOD USING A SEPARATE HANGER AND SCREW ANCHOR*

There are considerable advantages to the new system:
-The anchor is fundamentally permanent. It is virtually impossible to remove the Full Time anchor from its position without coercive force (electric angle grinder etc)
-Rapid placement. The anchor is placed by striking the pin head squarely with a hammer, negating the need for a hex key.
-Highly corrosion-resistant. Moulded from 100% AISI 316L stainless steel.
-The placement method means that once in position, the shank is free from internal forces which can cause SCC (stress corrosion cracking).
-Also suitable for use in marine environments.
-Once in place the anchor retains its position, maintaining the original direction. In other words, unlike traditional expansion bolts the hanger neither loosens nor turns.

Placement Advice:
-The placement surface must be completely solid with a crystalline structure.
-As well as visual evaluations, a good method is to strike the rock vigorously with a hammer.
-The sound produced should be dry and dull rather than hollow.
-Use an appropriate drill to create the hole in the rock, taking care to make it exactly perpendicular to the placement surface.
-The depth must be at least 5mm more than the length of the shank.
-A deeper hole has no ill-effect on the anchor (although naturally it wastes the drill's battery).
-Make sure that the bit is in good condition and that its diameter is exactly equal to the diameter of the anchor.
-Use a small pump or a rubber tube to blow down the hole and clean it.
-Place the anchor in the hole and position it in the load-bearing direction.
-Strike the pin head squarely with the hammer until it can move no further into the shank
-Please note, when striking the hammer it is possible to "miss the target" and hit the plate of the Full Time hanger instead, which can damage it slightly.
-This does not detract from the anchor's quality but naturally damages the aesthetic value.
-In response to this, RAUMER has created a small punch (see Art.530) which makes this process considerably easier and improves placement.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
-From 2013 the material used in the majority of our anchors is now stainless steel AISI 316L, which offers a higher resistance to marine corrosion than the former AISI 304.
-To highlight this change each article is stamped with the relevant symbols.

Attention:
-There is also a "Marina" version of this anchor which is highly resistant to saline corrosion.
-To mark the difference between stainless steel AISI 316L and the marina version of the same material, all marine-suitable anchors have been marked with a fish symbol and the initials "INOX".
