LifeStraw Go uses advanced microfiltration membrane technology that removes up to 99.9999 percent of bacteria (e.g., Escherichia coli, Vibrio cholerae, and Salmonella typhi) and 99.9 percent of protozoan cysts (e.g., Cryptosporidium parvum, Giardia lamblia) that produce waterborne diseases.

LifeStraw® Go therefore greatly reduces the risk of contracting illnesses such as diarrhea, dysentery, and Giardia.
