Excellent stainless steel carabiner with a O12 body.

The thickness of the steel has been designed not only to increase strength against breakage but also to prolong the “life” of the carabiner, which can otherwise be compromised by heavy use.

The stainless steel is highly resistant to wear, making this carabiner one of the most durable on the market.

The wiregate is created in high tensile steel (> 140 kg/mm2), and this combined with the specifically designed shape of the nose give this carabiner a tensile strength of more than 40 kN!

The wiregate’s shape also prevents accidental opening when horizontally weight-loaded.

“Open” type – meaning without a welded stainless steel bar in the upper part of the carabiner.

The stainless steel (AISI 316L) allows the placement of anchors in areas with harsh environmental and atmospheric conditions, as it is unreactive to mud, rain, ice and seasonal temperature changes.

Ideal carabiner for outdoor environments such as mountains, crags and canyons.

Guaranteed for 10 years (although not against everyday wear and tear).

Tested and rated to a strength of 15 kN.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
-From 2013 the material used in the majority of our anchors is now stainless steel AISI 316L, which offers a higher resistance to marine corrosion than the former AISI 304.
-To highlight this change each article is stamped with the relevant symbols.

Attention:
-There is also a “Marina” version of this anchor which is highly resistant to saline corrosion.
-To mark the difference between stainless steel AISI 316L and the marina version of the same material, all marine-suitable anchors have been marked with a fish symbol and the initials “INOX".
