What is it?

The most breathable of all GORE-TEX® product technologies, Gore Active™ offers a durably water and wind proof fabric. With excellent moisture management and next-to-skin comfort, Gore Active™ is the perfect companion for high aerobic activities. Like all GORE-TEX® Products it’s guaranteed to keep you dry and comfortable in the worst of weather.

How does it work?

Using a lighter, thinner bicomponent multilayer ePTFE membrane technology with an integrated tricot backer Gore Active™ offers the highest breathability and comfort of any GORE-TEX® product. The lightweight tricot backer is specifcally designed for condensation management and improved wet skin sensorics. The closer integration of the backer with the thinner ePTFE membrane allows for enhanced breathability and improved moisture vapor transfer. Gore Active™ products are also the lightest GORE-TEX® fabric available. With fabric denier sizes ranging from 15 to 30 denier these fabrics are very compactable and feather light.
