The Duc 3Lock HMS carabiner combines excellent handling with an automatic triple-action locking system, providing greater control against unintentional opening.

Its HMS geometry offers ample internal space and a comfortable working area for connecting ropes, slings and other components during vertical work and work at height.

The Duc 3Lock stands out for its versatility and its balance of capacity, handling and weight. With dimensions of 104 ? 73 mm, a 24 mm gate opening and a weight of only 79 g, it facilitates the passage of ropes, slings and anchor components.

The oversized rope contact area, auxiliary hole and functional locking-system finishes complete a spacious and versatile carabiner.

Compared with its predecessor, the Lotus Stone 3P, the gate opening increases from 23 to 24 mm, the weight decreases from 92 to 79 g, and the dimensions are reduced from 113 to 104 mm in height and from 75 to 73 mm in width.

The Duc model is available in three versions: Duc Screw, Duc Auto and Duc 3Lock.

The 3Lock version features an automatic triple-action locking system, designed for manoeuvres where increased control against unintentional opening is required.

The grey body and green locking sleeve make it easy to identify within the range.

The three grooves marked on the sleeve visually indicate that it is a triple-action system.

The name Duc refers to one of the largest owls, reflecting its position as Fixe’s largest carabiner. Its capacity and robust construction provide control and comfort during demanding manoeuvres, while offering a large rope working surface.

TRIPLE ACTION, MAXIMUM CONTROL AND EXCELLENT HANDLING
Oversized rope contact area: The rope contact area features a more rounded, solid cross-section with no recessed areas in the friction zone. This geometry facilitates the handling of common knots, such as the Munter hitch and clove hitch, and allows up to two clove hitches to be used simultaneously. The more uniform contact with the carabiner cross-section improves rope control during the manoeuvre and helps reduce wear.

Wide gate opening: Its 24 mm gate opening facilitates the passage of ropes, slings and anchor components, providing comfortable handling even during demanding manoeuvres.

Auxiliary hole: Compatible with an auxiliary cord or line up to 2 mm in diameter, allowing devices such as Micro Traxion, Nano Traxion or Spoc to remain connected to the carabiner.

Snagfree: The underside of the nose is smoothed to make unclipping from bolt hangers and ropes easier.

Keylock: Its Keylock closure helps prevent the carabiner from snagging on the rope, bolt hanger or anchor equipment.

Conical nose: Its pointed, conical shape facilitates precise and smooth insertion into bolt hangers, rings, slings and other connection points.

3Lock system: The automatic triple-action system requires three consecutive movements to open the carabiner and provides an additional level of control against unintentional opening. The three grooves marked on the locking sleeve make the 3Lock version quick and easy to identify.

Lightweight: Weighing 79 g, the Duc 3Lock offers an optimised weight considering its dimensions, 24 mm gate opening and automatic triple-action locking system.

Strength: 22 kN on the major axis, 8 kN on the minor axis and 7 kN with the gate open.

Features a manual screw-lock closure that is intuitive thanks to its helix-shaped indicator and easy to check visually.
Auto
