The Makalu Jacket combines a supple feel with robust weather protection for extremely wet conditions. It is one of our most popular waterproof jackets for year-round mountaineering, climbing and hiking.

The breathable GORE-TEX ePE with 75D outer material offers a good balance of robustness, comfort and weight.

It can withstand the realities of alpine terrain, heavy backpacks and tough conditions. It also packs down small and is comfortable to wear all day long.

The helmet-compatible, fully adjustable hood offers reliable protection.

The Alpine Fit eliminates excess material and, together with the pre-shaped sleeves, ensures plenty of freedom of movement.

The adjustable waistband and laminated cuffs keep rain out and make it easy and comfortable to combine with other layers of clothing.
