Περιγραφή

High-quality versatile Belay Station.

It is suitable for all situations where the belay can be placed in any position – slabs, roofs, overhangs etc.

It is also suitable for indoor use.

The rope is threaded through two FIXED carabiners (Art.165) mounted opposite each other to prevent any chance of the rope slipping out accidentally.

The dual carabiners also supply the maximum possible resistance to wear.

The anchor is bolted using a Hang Fix expansion bolt. We recommend using two screw anchors such as art. 157.

Placement Instructions:

1
-The placement surface must be completely solid with a crystalline structure.
-As well as visual evaluations, a good method is to strike the rock vigorously with a hammer.
-The sound produced should be dry and dull rather than hollow.

2
-Drill two holes into the rock, following a horizontal line and at a total distance of between 15 – 18cm maximum.
-This type of anchor spreads the load over two anchors simultaneously.
-Use a 10mm x 100mm drill bit in a good condition.
-Once the holes have been drilled, take the holds and use the hammer to fix them in their respective placements.
-Take care to place the nuts at least 5mm from the head of the thread. When the screw anchors are completely fixed in position and the washers are in contact with the rock, remove the nuts and washers.
-Take the belay station and position the rings inside the bolt shanks which have just been placed.
-Place the washers and nuts in position. Use a hex key 17 to fix the bolts in position, taking care to apply the appropriate level of torque to the bolts.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
-From 2013 the material used in the majority of our anchors is now stainless steel AISI 316L, which offers a higher resistance to marine corrosion than the former AISI 304.
-To highlight this change each article is stamped with the relevant symbols.
