Description

Brand New (2013) caving-specific anchor.

Designed to deliver high performance in tensile and shear strength.

Composed of two parallel knurled shanks, this anchor excels in practicality, usability and safety.

Specification below:
-Now created exclusively in AISI 316L Stainless Steel (from 2013 onwards) It is corrosion-resistant in almost all environments and inland use is guaranteed for at least 10 years.
-The “MARINA” versions are specifically designed to withstand harsh marine environments.
-The two shanks are knurled with a cross-hatch covering 50mm.
-This method of resin fixing has long been the most reliable and resistant, particularly when compared with resin anchors with transversal grooves or horizontal dimpled surfaces which are notoriously unreliable and dangerous.
-The shape of the eyelet has been designed to withstand high levels of tensile or shear force.
-Resistance to tensile force is guaranteed to 30 kN but in some tests has exceeded 50 kN.
-The “FORK” anchor's eyelet is perfectly smooth, allowing top-rope lower-offs without damaging the rope sheath.
-The shape of the loop is designed to withstand serious strain caused by flooded mountain streams.
-Placement is simple, fast and effective when using our exclusive "dima" tool (Art.532).
-Like all our climbing anchor systems, the surface is matt grey to minimise environmental and visual impact.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
-From 2013 the material used in the majority of our anchors is now stainless steel AISI 316L, which offers a higher resistance to marine corrosion than the former AISI 304.
-To highlight this change each article is stamped with the relevant symbols.

Attention:
-There is also a “Marina” version of this anchor which is highly resistant to saline corrosion.
-To mark the difference between stainless steel AISI 316L and the marina version of the same material, all marine-suitable anchors have been marked with a fish symbol and the initials “INOX".
