The active ingredient is a silver salt, which is a highly effective, naturally occurring antimicrobial agent. Sweat itself is odourless but it creates an environment for bacteria to thrive, Polygiene® treatment reduces odour-causing bacteria by more than 99%.
Active only on the fabric surface, it does not interfere with the natural bacteria on the skin making it entirely safe next to skin.
Polygiene® uses extremely low concentrations of silver salt made from recycled silver to minimize impact.
