Description

High-quality anchor. Similar to Art.225 but equipped with the newly-designed “RING SAFETY13” carabiner (Art. 534) which prevents the rope from accidentally exiting the system.

This excellent stainless steel resin anchor is used to create highly secure abseiling or top-rope anchors.

The carabiner allows the rope to be easily threaded into the anchor and facilitates rope retrieval from below. The carabiner is clipped into a 10mm-diameter ring which allows it to hang perpendicular to the face, thus allowing the rope to function well whatever the directional force. The first ring can also be used as an anchor when the stance is being used by more than one person.

For obvious safety reasons (sometimes the condition of the rock) always use two anchors. During use, the live rope must pass through both carabiners.

Specification as follows:
-Now created exclusively in AISI 316L Stainless Steel (from 2013 onwards) It is corrosion-resistant in almost all environments and inland use is guaranteed for at least 10 years.
-The “MARINA” versions are specifically designed to withstand harsh marine environments.
-The shank is knurled, with a cross-hatch covering 50mm.
-This method of resin fixing has long been the most reliable and resistant, particularly when compared with resin anchors with transversal grooves or horizontal dimpled surfaces which are notoriously unreliable and dangerous.
-The carabiner allows the rope to be quickly clipped through the system for a top-rope lower-off.
-This carabiner (see Art.534) is very resistant to wear as the stainless steel ring is 12mm thick.
-In the event of damage it can be replaced using a large pair of pliers. The carabiner is equipped with a bar which prevents it from twisting.
-Like all our climbing anchor systems, the surface is matt grey to minimise environmental and visual impact.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
-From 2013 the material used in the majority of our anchors is now stainless steel AISI 316L, which offers a higher resistance to marine corrosion than the former AISI 304.
-To highlight this change each article is stamped with the relevant symbols.

Attention:
-There is also a “Marina” version of this anchor which is highly resistant to saline corrosion.
-To mark the difference between stainless steel AISI 316L and the marina version of the same material, all marine-suitable anchors have been marked with a fish symbol and the initials “INOX".
