Raumer Spit - Bolt in stainless steel (diam.12x30)

Identical dimensions as the classic self-drilling M8 bolt, however this bolt is made entirely of stainless steel AISI 303 and is not self-drilling.

For placement, make a 12mm wide x 30mm deep hole with a drill or manually with a point bit (art.105 or similar) fixed to the STROKER bolt driver (or equivalent).

Place the RAINOX M8 bolt (equipped with Striker Bolt art. 131) in the hole and use a hammer to fix the bolts securely.

ATTENTION:
Although case-hardened, the striker bolt is relatively fragile and can break unexpectedly under hammer blows.
This can result in flying fragments which can cause serious injury to yourself or others (eyes etc). Use appropriate safety equipment.
The RAUMER company declines any responsibility for any incident caused when using this product.
The ideal placement system through use of the STROKER bolt driver instead of the case-hardened "striker", although this combination is more laborious.

NOTE:
Expansion is guaranteed even if the base of the hole is rounded as opposed to flat (made with a SDS plus bit).

Attention:
Before placement, the hole must be completely free of dirt and dust!

The striker can be re-used multiple times.

Attention:
The stainless steel is not suitable for placement in marine environments due to the corrosive atmosphere.
It is ideal for inland use away from saline environments.
